During the Fall of 2017, I spent a few months doing the interior build out of the Naukabout Brewery and Taproom in Mashpee, MA. Built of 95% reclaimed wood from an old barn tear down in New Hampshire. This project allowed me a lot of creative control and I really enjoyed seeing what became of a massive pile of lumber. Built mostly of 100 year old Hemlock and Pine. Multiple bar tops, high tops, drink rails, tables, and shelving, but my favorite pieces ended up being the mantle/fireplace surround, tap tower, and host stand made up of old cranberry boxes. Not to mention they can brew some serious beer.

As musician and music lover, this project was especially fun for me. I have made similar pieces for myself in the past but never with the records forward facing. Made of black walnut with black painted grooves on the top to hold the currently played album. Metal welded base and with brace drawer pulls. Milton MA

This was a collaboration between myself and designer Sandra Cavallo. The table top and bench top were made of 6/4 meranti to match the existing deck. You couldn’t pick a more beautiful spot for these pieces.

This was my answer to the blue epoxy filled river tables which I don’t typically care for. These were drops of two book matched walnut slabs but one was flipped upside down causing a matching crack running down the middle. I love this piece so much that I ended up keeping it for myself and it is currently my coffee table in my living room. Welded base and finished with Odie’s Oil.

We built this outdoor bar for The Heights Cafe in Falmouth, MA during May of 2020. The pergola style framing was all done out of cedar and paired with a sapele bar top.

Black Walnut Television Console with tongue and groove diagonal maple back. Continuous grain on drawer fronts.

This Island Top was made of old Heart Pine from Cataumet Saw Mill in Falmouth, MA. The planks were full of nail holes were then filled with black epoxy and finished with Rubio Monocoat.

This coffee table is made of quarter sewn cypress from northeastern Texas. Previously used as an outdoor table in Austin for years, then taken apart and planed new. Nail holes and knots filled with charcoal stained epoxy, finished with a mix of tung oil and mineral spirits.

The Hatchville End Table is a simple end grain slab mounted on three hairpin legs. This slab was salvaged from a fallen maple tree in Falmouth, MA. The tree had a lot of insect rot which cause some interesting patterns in the wood. Finished with shellac and polished with wax. Can also double as a stool.

Named after New Hampshire's Kinsman Falls because of the waterfall edge on one side of the table. Red Oak slab which contained multiple voids. Filled with charcoal stained epoxy and finished with a mix of tung oil and mineral spirits. Single metal leg. Tree cut down on Cape Cod.

Hickory slab with walnut base. Walnut butterfly key on one end to prevent checking. Three hardwood through dowels used to join the stretcher to the legs. Named for Penzance Point in Woods Hole, MA.  Tung Oil and mineral spirit finish.

Three inch top made with random branches found in an Austin, TX backyard. Mold made from the bottom of a Home Depot bucket and filled with a half gallon of epoxy and Walnut sawdust. Walnut base with slightly tapered legs and through mortises. Base finished with boiled linseed oil. Inspired by a lathe project by Jimmy Diresta and the Juniper Table in 'Good Clean Fun' by Nick Offerman.

Reclaimed 300 year old White Oak. This mantle was extremely difficult to plane and sand but with a bit of elbow grease and gumption, this thing became as smooth as Willie Nelson's vocal chords. Knots filled with charcoal stained epoxy. Finished with Tung Oil.
